Just received my fuel bladder yesterday. Thought I would do a free plug for excellent service. I bounced around different shapes and sizes to them as they also do custom made sizes to fit into your vehicle etc. Great responses and quotes every time.

Final product is very well made with high quality valve and workmanship.

the reason why i did this was that I didn't want empty jerry cans taking up the same amount of space than if they were full whilst doing the Canning Stock route. Now after I have used my 60 litres of fuel out of the bladder it rolls up into something no bigger than about 2-3 loafs of bread!

Empty Jerry Cans can be used to stand on and as a temp seat...but not near the campfire.

So where do you propose to put it.....inside the vehicle?...on the roof rack?.....

This particular one I will be putting inside the vehicle. When it gets down to about 20-30 litres I will throw it up on the roof rack.

The good thing with the bladder is that as it empties I roll it up so it takes up less space.

How do you fill it if it's inside the vehicle? Servos won't let you fill containers unless on ground. How do you get fuel from bladder to tank?

there is a valve with a long hose connected. You can get the hose any length you want.

Like the looks of this and it is pleasing to see that it also is not just for diesel. I can see getting the fuel in but I presume there would be an appropriate fitting to get it out? I use a water bladder with 80 litre capacity - really easy to use. But I'd want to make sure we didn't have too much (if any) spillage decanting fuel from the bladder. Gossy, 60 litres can't be simply lifted so how are you emptying the bladder?

Their web site is a little bland on details.

Kind regards

its exactly the same theory as the water bladders. A valve (tap) with a hose on it (cut to length).

As for filling only on the ground. I have been filling Jerry cans packed inside the car and on top of the roof racks for years. I have never been asked to put them on the ground. Use that theory will a farmer with his tray back and the servo attendant would get a mouth full to go back to the city I reckon!

G’day Gossy,

Thanks for the info. Where bouts are they located? Also, as a guide, what did your 60 litre bladder set you back?

Kind regards

Not sure of the location as it was all done via courier and online banking etc. Website might have a location?

Mine cost $350. I did some quick maths with some of the size options. Basically the bigger the bladder the cheaper per litre cost. I could have got a 100 litre for less than this but I didn't have a need for 100 litres (already have an aux tank) and no where to put it (unless I wanted to tip over by putting it on the roof rack!)

Mine is 900 x 500 x 200 (L x W x H). I chose this particular size because it fitted best inside my car. He can do any shape etc you like.
