Hi all,

I'm interested in buying a Honda Eu20. After reading the threads posted on the EU20s and getting a quote from the 12 Volt Shop of $1695 cash, I just wanted to know if it was a good price? The guy at the shop told me that was fuelled oiled and ready to go.

They were $1650 at the Perth 4WD Show with a bag and locking cable.

Gee, we paid of $2,000 almost three years ago. At the time the major stockists were advertising a deal just under $2,000, but add freight to that or the cost of a trip to Perth, and it was better for us to pay the higher price.

Grab it while you can - seems much lower than the on line dealers.

You really need to ask yourself a few questions.

1. Why is the price so low (according to comments from others)?

2. Why would they want to sell something with an internal combustion engine that they claim is fuelled ready to go and it may need to be shipped interstate etc?

3. Is the unit a new one?

4. Has it been used as a demo, was it bought by someone else and returned etc?

If you can obtain satisfactory answers to the above then it would seem that you have one helluva dela. Go for it.

the reason they are fueld & ready to use is because each unit is tested befor they leave the wholesaler

Bought one at the 2007 Melbourne caravan show for $1600 with $200 Honda rebate. Very happy with it. Make sure it is capable of running all the appliances you need to run before you buy, 2kva gennies struggle with some air conditioners that do not have a soft start.

Use my Eu20i all the time when camping. Runs all our camp needs effortlessly. The price is right for a new unit. if you have a need for a generator this is definitely one of the best units around.

Cheers
