Occasionally a company will bring out one of these
oztrail with an option to run a fly over the top or side panels in case it rained...Rays had one but could not get the fly sheet (cover) for them..Aussie Disposals sold out and cannot get the stock back in...I emailed Oztrail months ago but no reply....They sell like hot cakes but there not too interested in resupply its bizarre...
Anyone seen any about,i want one..
Cheers

Hi Warfer,
I have one of the
DELUXE GAZEBOS actually this is our second one as we wore the first one out. We use it as a "living room" out the front of our trailer. There are walls available for them and they do work a treat, I believe that flyscreens are available now, but a couple of years back there weren't for them. My wife made flyscreens out of a flyscreen kit for a different model and modified them with some shade cloth to make the screens bigger. Works a treat too!
The deluxe Gazebo is a bit more exxy, but IMO is
well worth the money!

If you go into an caravan
park with one of these some
park owners get very antsy!make people take them down...dangerous in storms!!! OHS issue insurance etc! So best laid plans get stuffed up.

I haven't had that happen to us as yet. But usually the only caravan parks we stay in are the ones that are out in the bush towns. (
Winton,
Birdsville etc etc...) So far, so good. We don't usually stay in c/p's in major towns, so I can't comment on their policies.
Dangerous in storms? Pegged and tied down the way they're meant to be, they're no more dangerous than any other tent. So if the c/p management want them taken down, they would probably not want our trailer set up anyway, so therefore they'd lose on the site fee from my wallet.
Cheers

When I worked at a Western Vic coastal Caravan
Park over 1 Christmas Holiday period I disposed of about 10 or a dozen damaged Gazebos into the rubbish.
Be aware that they will collapse in only slightly above moderate winds.
It's best not to leave them unattended if it's going to be windy.
The big winner for the most damaged & binned was the
camping chairs that come in a bag - I would have binned 20 - 30 of these.
Happy
Camping

We have a OzTrail deluxe Gazebo with the optional sides and flyscreens (got it from Anaconda). It's been through 35 knot winds at
Ningaloo with no issues.

We ordered a Territory Mesh Dome tent plus fly some weeks ago. It has standing room so can be used as a fly screened dining room, or as a summer tent. It was quite cheap.
I haven't seen it as it hasn't arrived as yet (hold up is on the fly), although i have seen similar (not sure if the same brand).
