i am looking at putting a new gas stove / cooker into our custom camper trailer i am currently building,
my question is who has one, and are you happy with the "Maxie T2S Leisure " cooker ?? i think they are standard fitment in the Kimberly kampers, do they work
well and heat faster than a normal say companion gas stove?? or is there a better stove brand or model ??
thanks

XCat,
Can't help with the stove comparison but a couple of things to keep in mind when installing gas into campers and caravans.
1.
If you are using fitted gas lines and regulator you may have to have it all installed by a licensed gas fitter, (It depends on what your state regulations require).
Otherwise you may not get it passed.
I found this out the hard way (in WA). The licencing authority would not pass my rebuilt camper because there was no sticker saying the new gas work was done by an approved gas fitter.
So Gas fitter came and I paid him for his knowledge, he looked at my work, tested it for leaks and gave me the required sticker.
No problem after that.
2.
Make sure that your choice of stove/cooker is approved for use in a camper/caravan. I had to change
mine because it was for domestic installation only and not suitable for camper/caravan use.
No one could explain what the difference was between the two units but one was OK and the other not. (The cheaper unit was the one not approved, of course.
Disco.
