How many of you guys use one of these,I like to spread the legs, the smaller ones seem a fair bit restrictive around feet end..
What brand/s would you suggest and ratings,Keeping in mind a double swag or touring tent with coleman queensize bed,as i use...
I do not want to zip2 together, been there and dislike it.
Also are the inserts for sleeping bags to keep clean work
well ???
Cheers

Just got two from Kmart we can zip together to almost queen size.
If warmer, just use one as a quilt.
Seperately they are quite wide when zipped into one bag.
Hassle is the size of them when packed up.

Warfer, you need one of
these. There's a guy in
Melbourne selling them. Plus you don't have to get out of them to go for a late night stroll!!!!
Cheers
Mick

Warfer, I have never seen the point of using sleeping bags inside double swags. We just use a fitted sheet on the mattress (inside the canvas of course) a sheet and a quilt. Our quilt is really good. Got it from Big W. It has two thicknesses. Usually one is enough, but for really cold weather, a second layer press studs to the first to give a double quilt thickness. This is a really versatile setup and handles from hot to very cold weather. The sheets and quilt are rolled up inside the swag when travelling. Synthetic quilts much better than down as it stays warm even if wet and is also much easier to wash. Polar fleece blankets also worth considering. Very light and very warm.
