hi! Is anybody able to tell us where to rent a car for the
OOdnadatta track? We have askes most of the rent-a-car
services, but we don't manage to have an answer. We'll be in
Coober Pedy on the 26th od December. Can you help us?

#1 Maybe the folks in
Coober Pedy have the day off, seeing 26th dec is a public holiday
#2 Maybe they don't want you to be driving out there in the heat of summer, given the death of an overseas tourist in a rental 4wd at Halligan's Bay in December '98 ???

Don't think you'll have any chance of finding a car rental place at
Oodnadatta. By December 26th you could be in for some very hot or even very wet weather. Not too many people travel that part of the country during summer unless they really have to. As for rental, you might need to start out in Pt
Augusta or even
Adelaide if you want to rent anything half decent.
