Hi all,

I am making a roller draw setup for my dual cab that has a draw on one side and a box that encloses (except for the end obvisously) my engel in its insulated bag on the other and has a slide. My question is how much clearance do I need around the fridge to allow maximum efficiency and low current consumption?

thanks in advance

Dingo,

I thought you would only need to keep air circulating around the motor end. The sides are fairly constricted by the use of the insulating bag anyway. I'd be just ensuring that the working end is clear and has good air circulation.

Cheers Mick

Same here.

I keep the motor end near the side window, and normally leave it open a few of centimetres. Might put a 12v fan and duct in one day, that points at the cooling end of the fridge.
