Hi all,
Becoming a new Dad in January and going to have to ditch the swag for a few years until bubz is old enough to have one of its own, so been looking at Canvas Tents. Anyone out there have the Oztrail Cabin 10 x 8? How long does it take to set up? Is it strong, good design??
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy
Have a look at the Oztent. Get the right size and you will have one of the best tents around for many years to come. Set up time is as they say, 30 seconds. Will be the best purchase that you can spend on your
camping gear.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Andy,
We have the Oztrail Cabin. A good sturdy tent that doesnt take too long to put up - once you have learnt how!!!. We have the two room version which is a lot of canvas and a lot of poles so a far bit of room and weight. The tent was used during rain and no leaks. We don't use it anymore as we now have a CT.

I used to have one of the bigger ones (15x12) also a friend has a 10x8. They are good and sturdy and have good head height inside - but they are also a bit expensive (compared to a dome-style) and they are definitely bloody heavy with all the canvas and steel poles. Putting up isn't too bad with a bit of practice - but certainly looking at 15-30mins ... which is probably similar to a dome style tent but a lot more than a "touring" tent.
