Hi folks,

Perhaps Michael or Michelle might be able to enlighten us or anyone else in the 'know'.

Since the change of Government in WA what is now happening with Ningaloo ?

Had a friend just returned from that area and he tells me the previous Government wanted to construct a huge resort on the coast as well as taking the land back off the lefroy family.

Have they (the Gov't) made a decision on its future?

I hope to get up that way sometime in the next couple of years.

Cheers.

Thanks David, appreciate the update.

I know my friend stopped there recently and said apart from the wind it was a magnificent place to stay.

$20 for 1 night or $40 for a week. Not much to think about so he stayed for a week.

I have neighbours who go to Exmouth and Ningaloo often and they say its god's own country.

Its definately on my places to visit list.

Cheers.

Any chance someone could update the Places feature with this area? I always hear good things about this location from those in the west, however it would be nice to see some photos and a description/details of what we are talking about.

Hoping for another holiday in WA next year and would like to check out this place.
