System Moderation

Can the chinese whispers please stop. There seems to be some issue pointed at the moderators at the moment. We are totally confused as it appears people are just trying to start flame wars and fights with us. There was a single post which was a trader ad loaded into the system over the weekend (it is on page 2 - STILL as moderated and the reason). This morning we had a few on system complaints as to why the blatant AD was moderated - WHY? I cannot understand why anyway these posts were responded to and subsequently hidden as 10 posts on page one from a couple of upset users is not what the moderation policy was written for. Do you want the 10 posts left so that you can wade through the rubbish - my bet is NO so leave the moderation of the system to those put in place to do it.

Now we are being told to tone down the moderation - I do not understand - we moderate an AD post and then get abused by a few users and now a percentage of you are going off at us about moderating/removing the rants of a few disgruntled users. I will continue to do this as and when it is needed

I will say it again - if you do not like the policy do NOT post. If you want to have a complain about an issue bring it up with ME, moderation is managed by ME so if you do not like it tell me the reason personally in email (david@exploroz.com) - do it on the system and I will moderate it, hide it and ban you - like it or leave.
