On Monday 1st December we had our Ultimate camper stolen from outside our home in Bronte NSW. It has Vic Licence plates R27710.
We were hoping to go away after xmas, but this now looks like a non event.
If you see anyone acting suspiciously, or having trouble getting their camper up, maybe you could have a chat with them. If anyone has any suspicions or sees an ultimate dumped anywhere please contact the NSW Police.
Thanks to all..we very much appreciate any help we can get.
Ann and Peter

Try contacting the 4wd clubs associations so they can get the word out to members of all the 4wd clubs...

G'day Ann and Peter,
Yes, I read about your situation on the Ultimate's
forum too.
As you know, the Ultimate owners tend to be-friend each other at
camp grounds etc..... I certainly always go up and introduce myself to any other owners and have a bit of a yarn. One question that always comes up is "what number is yours?" If somebody doesn't know, or even hesitates to answer, then suspicions should be heightened.
I certainly hope you have success in your appeal for assistance and that you will still be able to get away for a holiday in the New Year.
Regards,
Roachie

If they know what they are doing, it's already being done, including the removal of any stickers that advertise it is an ultimate camper!
same with the number plates, some one had a trailer or caravan and pulled the plate off so you can't find it, it might be running around with nsw plates or its up in queensland. so the first thing after getting your c/van is change the plates, 2nd would be to get rid of any external marking which would be able to id it, 3 would be give int another paint job cheaply, and chage the id plate with an older c/van or a new one that was done. it's not that hard if you have a friend who does blue slips and vin plates. dummy reciept etc etc.
No i am not that tyoe of person but i can think like they do!!!

Chris,
It is a bit hard not to recognise an "Ultimate Camper"
Cheers Kev
