I am moving the battery in my Jayco CT. The wiring in it looks like about 50amp. A friend gave me some 100amp wire to extend the run. Is that a problem?

Not being mean or lazy, it's just that it's a 2 hr trip to get the right wire from where I live and I'm kinda in a hurry.

No problem at all.

Going up in sizes is good, down is bad.

You just need to retain the same size fuses as you've still got the 50A wiring in circuit.

Geoff,

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

Hi Michael

If you have enough cable replace it all with 100A.
