hi all
i want to put a battery into my caravan can i just wire this to my auxiliary battery or is there more involved. i know the best way to connect into van is via a anderson plug. what size cable do you think i need. i have a diesel GQ patrol 92 is the alternator big enough to supply recharge to all battery's. if any body has wiring diagram i mind a copy asking a bit much i do admit.
thanks in advance to any one who responds.
have a nice day
regards

Hi Al
Have a look at this picture, it may help.
Note: 6 B&S cable is the biggest that will fit 50A Anderson plugs and this is what I would recommend.

I would add another fuse or circuit breaker into the line to the anderson plug, make it a 80 amper so you get some discrimination with the rear one, but I wouldnt want such a long run to the back of the vehicle without protection.
And Derek, youve forgotten the
wheels on your trailer
