Hi Greendog. My neighbour is a 15year policeman. He has told me if I ever need this sort of help let him know. They will talk to the guy and present the evidence, if they think they can prove it they will take action against him. Do you know anyone in the force? That would be the best action or maybe talk to the original officer that you reported it to. Bob.

Gday
He who laughs last, laughs longest....if you have some bouncer mates, front him, but be aware you may end up in where he needs to be...so think smarter...check out his Paj for yourself....and then make a decision as to whether to call the police and get on the merry go round. Personally, i would put a GPS report back to base alarm in your paj and tell the mates to let it be known you have lockers and air
suspension and let him get busted red handed...
well spent $1500...he may even still have the gear from work in his shed...flammin bower birds.

What evidence would you have to go on though? I have a pair of Lightforce with blue covers too, but i sure as hell didnt steal yours. But let me tell you, think about it carefully and devise a way in which you could find out, maybe get one of the fellas to bad mouth you to him and say your a prick and see if he says anything. Be cunning mate, cause if it was him then you will need to be. Good luck though mate, nothing worse then having your hard earned taken away.
All the best

G'day Greendog,
Let it go mate. Just keep an eye on your new replacement gear so it doesn't happen again.
The insurance company own all your stolen gear now and if ( and I mean a big if) it is ever recovered it doesn't belong to you anymore.
I know first hand how frustrating it can be when someone steals your hard earned goods but I say again.......let sleeping dogs lie.
Move on and don't let this consume you. Life too short.
If you ever found out for sure who stole your stuff then you could let the insurance company know and let them deal with it.
Cheers.

Hi Greendog,
Can you randomly drop into the factory at night whilst these people are there? Don't announce your intentions just do the drop in.
The times need to vary and the direction you arrive from needs to vary too.
My father when he was alive had seven retail businesses and on very rare occassions his staff would take a shine to the stock and takings.
He caught every single one of them by keeping his ear to the ground, his mouth shut and the above formula.
He even had one fellow thank him in the street one day for the great deal dad gave him even though he'd never served the bloke nor had the bloke ever entered any of the shops!

I guess Greendog this sums it up for me,
At the time the bloke was flogging dad's gear around town the old fella living next door to us was a retired police prosecutor named Bill.
I remember
well Bill saying to dad one day about this bloke, "you'll never get your gear back but you can lay your brand on him for life"
Bill was right, this bloke eventually got that game dad caught him in one of the shops one Sunday. Dad took him to court. The beak called the bloke "the most unreliable witness he'd ever met"
To this day that bloke is "branded" as someone who steals from his employer. (He probably died of old age years ago)
Worth a thought,
Geoff

G'day Doggie,
You gotta do what you gotta do.......
But if you are 100% sure give it to him..........
Never mind about who owns it now, a matter of personal pride.
If you are sure, stick it up him.....
cheers

Greendog,
Maybe hard to prove the lights are yours, you have your vehicle back and now the lights are for the insurance to deal with.
I would put Data Dots on my gear cheap invisable but simple to prove what is yours if stolen.
I am about to put on all my work gear not to mention electrical gear in the
home.
I think it costs about $60.00 and will do about 100 items.

Do you or your mates have any old UHF radios that don't work ? Or get a dead one from a repair
shop. Leave it lying around on
the bench or somewhere that you know he is likely to pass in the night. See if he nicks it. Better still, if you have the kit - video him in the act.

Kahma is a good concept to think about...someone will fix up the thef sometime in the future...protection from these sorts of situtions is what you pay insurance for...however...i once took a turbo diesel landcruiser for a
test drive, i was amazed the owner didnt bother coming for the drive...turns out he installs GPS trackers and could tell me where i went and how fast....he then tells me some stories about things being retrieved and people doing time for their actions....$1500 with 12 months reporting was the going rate....compare that to what you pay for insurance now....and think of how nice it would be to get your gear back from a low life for once....they should be on all cars.

Dickies has a swann product that takes pics, its movement activated and looks like a ir sensor, which im sure some paint can take care of! ALso mount it in a location thats easy for the
camera to see, or put it in a different box! also make sure it's in a
well lit place to get good images of the low life scum bags. Talk about an idiot, working in the same place as you or close to with hot stuff!!!!

Good luck if you prove it.
