If your running the standard 6'' steel rims I would change to 225/75/16 .I've had a good run out of the Mickey Thompson ATZ but BFG AT , Cooper ATR and Goodyear Silent Armour are all excellent tyres.
If your running wider than 6'' rims I would go to 245/75/16 which have a slightly greater diameter of 775mm compared to the 745mm of the 225/75/16.

Cheers
Tony

I have put Bridgestone 694s on our SR5 hilux(255 70 15). They are heaps better than the standard 693s - ride and wet grip superior, but about 0.4 l/100km worse in fuel consumption.
Fitted a Redarc dual battery controller but put the battery in the back of our dual cab with Anderson plug conx. Works great but we only put the battery in for occasional use. Note this is a better location than under the bonnet, 2nd battery spends most of its life in the garage on trickle charge.

Regards, John.

I have tried most of the brands on hilux doing agricultural boom
spraying & now only buy Firestone Firehawk RMT LT. Great wear,
good traction & still quiet on blacktop. Generally cheaper than the
flash brands too........oldbaz.
