G'day all,
Can anyone please help me with some information.I am trying to find out whether access to the above
junction is still available by 4wd.I have not been down there for a few years, and last time I was told by the keeper of the
gate key that access was no longer available due to people doing the wrong thing by way of leaving rubbish, rat bagging etc.It is a great place and I would dearly love to show it to my kids over a weekend
camp.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks, MICK
(great site by BTW)

Dont think so Mick...years ago they made this wilderness, the whole Yahwol
creek track....many
good camp spots were lost....you could still drive the burrier fire trail to the
lookout and
gate though...

gday
if you have been there before you will know that once you are at the
gate it is almost imposible to reverse back up the
hill if it is locked. we go down to thomsons corner as it is known localy by canoe if you
park at talawa dam it is an enjoyable half day paddle to thompsons corner then another half day to gradys caravan
park dont forget you will need to be picked up at that end and taken back to your car at talawa dam cheers bill.

Depends what your reversing...seriously, the
gate used to be up top...i take it they have moved it to a more appropriate position to keep the wildlife from getting round it.

GATE prior to the
lookout you can no longer drive to the look at all,you can only walk to the
