G'day all, I have a hilux 2004 sing cab tray back. The original tyres were Dunlops, lasted only 25-26000 km. It is a split rim and I want to stay standard. My question; what are the best tyre to suit, AT with tubes?
Thanks for your feed back,
Damien

I have long sung the praises of the Firestone Firehawk RMT.
Economical to buy, wear
well, & quiet on the tar. There are some size restrictions but may suit. Will be tubeless but not an issue.
cheers........oldbaz.

Also worth asking the local tyre shops whether they have any sets of standard tubeless rims that have been traded in, and for what price if you bought tyres from them. Gives you more options for the type of tyre you end up with.
Cheers, John

Thanks Oldbaz and John for your replys. I will look into the Firestone firehawks Baz.
I thought i would get a better response from the pro 4x4 people, but they only seem to reply to blokes with fat tyres not originals.
Very disappointing!!!
My last posting was stopped by management! I think this one might too.
