Find out the factory spec viscosity from either toyota or a gregorys manual, and buy Penrite HPR. Is your 4 runner a petrol 4cly or V6, diesel or turbo diesel (surf)?

based on the detail in the question, engine oil would be correct oil, 15w-40 oughta do it.

Sorry Duhhh! forgot anyone would have anything else under their bonnet than what I have! Its a '94 V6 petrol 4runner 4wd.
