G’day Pooley,

Welcome aboard we’ve been copping it up north for some time with Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the latest Morton bay zones. It is not just the fishing old mate it is that includes other responsibilities for go slow zones etc. The definition of fishing means that you may not be actually fishing at the time but be in a position to do so and be identified as such by a ranger. It also means that if you’re looking to fish – such as bird spotting – that is good enough as well!

No such thing as accidentally drifting into an imaginary line in the water because you’ll be gone for all money. Takes the shine off fishing doesn’t it but that is what these ratbags want so don’t give up.

Kind regards

Wife decides to take boat out on lake, anchor and then read a book.

Along comes game warden in his boat. Good morning Ma'am, what are you doing?

Reading a book (isn't it obvious)

You're in a restricted fishing area

I'm sorry officer but I am not fishing, I am reading a book

Yes but you have all the equipment, for all I know you could start at any moment, I will have to take you in and write you up.

For reading a book ?

You are in a restricted fishing area

But I am not fishing I am reading

Yes but you have all the equipment, you could start at any time

If you do that then I shall have to charge you with sexual assault

But I have'nt touched you

That's true but you have all the equipment and could start at any time.

Have a nice day ma'am.

G'day Kia

Hahahahaha, if only it is that simple! No reason to suggest it shouldn’t be but the law isn’t meant to be fair for all.

Kind regards

this is how the batmansbay marine park started, my fishing club in canberra and every club up and down the coast fourt to stop it but it still went ahead. they asked people for infomation on area's saying (we wont close popular fishing area's) and with they info they got they closed most of the area's that the people told them about. i sugest if they put something out asking about area's people fish dont say anything or tell them somewhere else thats got no fish there.

Typical minority group hyprocisy .......

That Harold Scrubby from the so called "Pedestrian Council" has a past history of deliberately trying to run over joggers/pedestrians too.

And money and support is available for these clowns ..... pffft
