Ring the tyre blokes they know whjat sizes or the 4x4 specialists, like arb, or "outer town 4x4" and pedders. Try also the 4x4 mechanic's"!!!

Course he can. It'll just mean the vehicle will be slow on take off and using the gears a bit more and throw the speedo out.

Same power as the old 3l units (actually 2kw extra woohoo!) but less emissions

He can and he cant , technicaly each and every 4x4 in Aus that goes over a certain % increase in tyre size is unroadworthy due to not complying with that vehiclescompliance plate and ADR and there for uninsured , the insurance company must be informed of the change , some tyre fitters will tell you that you cant have those tyres on your vehicle for those reasons and let you make up your own mind ,others will just fit no questions asked , just remember that insurance companies will not payout on a claim if they were not informed of a modification that breaches the vehicles design parrameters.

Tell him to accept his inadequacies and stop trying to compensate for them.
