Hi, we have just bought a second hand Millard van. It has a
grey water tank, sink
water runs into it. We think it might need cleaning before we take off. What should we use to clean it? Any ideas please.
Thanks

Generally I found solution of bleach, filled up left to sit, drained and then flushed out couple times, this works for my main
water tank.
Not sure about
grey, why worry are you recycling it? my sink just goes out onto grass or attach drain line if in a site

Agreed but take it for a drive to let it slosh around.

about 70c hot
water 2/3 full plenty of Morning Fresh and a good drive then drain. If really clogged up with fat then caustic soda and read instructions carefully.

If you use Bio-Magic for your portable dunny then use a charge or two of that. It will compost the food scraps and other gunk in the tank if you leave it there with the tank half filled. Leave it there for some time before going on your trip and empty it just before you get to your first
camp spot. (These instructions will work what ever the chemical you use.)
