Howdy All. I want to install an oil catch can on my Nissan GU.
I have priced a flash looking one at Supercrap. This one is cut into the pipe between the PCV valve, and the induction system pipe 3/4 along the way between the Air Filter and Turbo.I plan on mounting it, where the ABS would be, if it were there.
The other one I looked at, is fitted at the end of the tube from the PCV valve, mounted in the same place. It is the same type that is used on Desert race cars here in Alice It is Black high impact plastic item that is fairly heat resistant. It has one inlet and vents through an air filter on top. it has a drain valve on the bottom. Both the motor and gearboxes can vent into this system I would then block of the vent in the side of the airpipe from the airfilter to the Turbo.
I would assume that the PCV valve vents only one way OUT towards the Catch Can. Therfore no matter can be drawn into the motor through the PCV Would this be right Any Pictures and info appreciated.
Thankyou

Gref F,
Just dont let the EPA know!
Wouldn't the little amount of oil drawn through the PCV aid the engine with lubrication when combusting?
And yes PCV does (should) only work one way.
