Gday i replaced the injectors in my 80 series cruiser today with new one,s.
What i found was when i pulled the old injectors out i looked at the tips and found that 3 of them had a dark blue tinge around the edge of the bottom of them.
Can anyone tell me what is the cause or maybe the cause of this happening.???
Thanks Wayne.

When I did
mine on the 1HDT they were the same... the injector guy says that they get that way if the spray is not clean and it gets hot spots due to the fuel not vaporising properly.. sounded reasonable..
mine also had traces of burnt oil on them also which indicated that the turbo is letting oil through the seals.... at the end of the day I got them reset and the car drove much better..
