Taking advice from Trev (post 64230) I left the Magellan Map 330 switched on and out in the full sunlight this arvo.

After one hour there was no response from the dead satellte screen. But I left it there and sure enough after 3½ hours it is working again.

Thanks for the tip,Trev

It must be a Magellan thing...lol

something to do with working out where the satellites are?

my older hand held garmin can take ages to log on ...especially after a lengthy sleep in the draw...
