Got your attention - just sitting here checking out what everyone else is doing, hubby yells out - "want to buy a nude caravan park in Echuca - called River Valley - and it's for sale" Any takers - could be verrrrry interesting - it's been on the market for 12 months.
hmmmm

It was actually a quote from the Rowen and Martins "Laugh In" show in the 70's.
Oh well....

When I worked on a bush radio station I had an announcer called "Bippy". Glen Night was his real name. He used to walk up and ask the gels how their "bippy" was. That office dictionary sure got a workout there for a while.
Of course that was waaay back in the late 60's. These days he'd get done for harrassment....

I often wonder where Glen ended up, I know he was on 3AW for a while......maybe he ended up running a nude caravan park...that would be right up his alley...so to speak :))

Hi Footy,

Googled for the last 10 minutes and found that Glenn Knight was working at 3SEN in 05.
Couldn't find anything after that.
There is an email address for the station in this link,

Radio Stations

Hope it helps you find him.

Cheers,
Dennis

Well thanks to all who responded re "Bippy" (Glen Knight). I Googled around and didn't find anything, but you guys have done.
A fishing show ? Glen had absolutely no interest in fishing as a young announcer. Surfing, yes. But he was 1000km away from the sea at the time. I'd better stop there. We all have embarrassing stories from our youth :))

Tony you seem to be partially correct. You've "socked it to me". It was actually "Very interesting ..." followed by either a comic observation or misinterpretation, or simply "but stupid!"
And so it would depend upon which show you remembered best I guess.
Say goodnight, Dick :)))

Sounds like a great park to have a stay at as you wouldn't need to pack any clothes and the plus side is you wouldn't have to spend any money on washing the clothes at the end of the stay. Oh just thought of another + more room for beer.

Actually, if it's similar to other parks that I've read about, they do wear clothes on occasions. Dances, dinners , some activities etc.
So the clothes angle is out. And imagine how much RID you'd need, and extra blockout cream.

Your list omitted twister as an attired event, at least I hope it was an omission!

Beatit, I have to admit having never set foot inside a nude club of any description.
In my youth, my only robes off was on Cable Beach, where I found that I was embarrassed by wearing clothes:)))

I have to admit that I have also found no reason to go! But for some reason the term nude twister was in my mind and I was thinking I have to get rid of that thought so I dumped it in this thread, hopefully forever.

Kind regards
