Went in today to purchase a Yamaha 1KVA generator and came home with a 60lt ARB fridge instead.....
We had been thinking about up sizing our fridge for a while(
well since Saturday) and apparently Engel/ARB fridge deal is over and ARB must clear their rebadged Engels.Got a 60lt ARB fridge and transit bag for $1400.And to top it off, sold my 40lt ARB fridge 10 mins ago, bonus.
The generator went on layby....
So anyone looking for a good deal on fridges, go see ARB for their clear out sale.

Although you won't need it buying a rebadged Engel, will ARB maintain the warranty period??
Cheers Kev

While there is nothing wrong with Hondas, I have always preferred the Yamahas(personal thing). And the Yamaha is a better price.

*Honda Eu10i are not good with aluminium
bore and wear out quickly and stink of fuel in vehicle.
check out here why Yamaha is hell of a lot better product*
Still talking CRUD Paul...Oh you shouldn't have it going in the vehicle anyway read the instruction manual lol

I would also vote against the Honda.
I purchased the Eu30i a couple of years ago mainly for home use when we have power outages. I wanted an electric start (easier for the wife I though). BUT.. I believe it is way too heavy for what it is and also far more expensive than comparable Yamahas. I am actually looking at a Yamaha 2400 or 2800 which come in at 29-31Kg which is manageable. My impression is that the Yamaha is better value for money and have not heard of any serious problems and consider them just as good. My next one will probably be the Yamaha 2400.
Not trying to bash Honda .. just personal opinion.
good luck
