I would snap one up if I wasn't so broke.

Bad time of year for spare cash.

I am a long term member of ExplorOz, support EO when ever possible, but $599.00 is not a good price. $479.00 is a good price, same deal.

Some other companies have this deal, though they are not much cheaper so can't complain about this package.

Thanks for the link, John.
I had a look and its clearly cheaper but it doesn't come with topo, $120 for that as far as I can tell, however the EO doesn't mention redlight/speed camera warning, MMMMM.

BE AWARE:

On the claim form for this Garmin deal, the Terms and Conditions clearly state the following:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase a selected Garmin nuvi product (models detailed below) from a participating retailer (this offer excludes purchases made through any online bidding or auction websites) during the Offer Period. .........
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Garmin may very well reject your claim for this deal due to it being sold on ebay. I suspect they may have a list of "authorised retailers" of this deal.

You can download the POI from the web. also this clown isn't an Authorised dealer for Garmin so it may well be a grey import with Australian maps

G'day John.

At the risk of asking a really stupid question, what is "...the toppo bit..."?

Thanks Richard

I was curious about whose/which topo maps they were.

I have a copy of Shonky Maps, so I could probable load them.
