Looks like diving to me! I can see the air in and exhaust out I just can't see how they stop water getting into the fuel tank!

Kind regards

Did they actually make those in diesels? I didnt think they did!

It maybe the only petrol we'd ever see underwater.

They were an underrated little truck that actually were quite capable and good value.

Some of them had the 1.9 Peugeot diesel. An old design used in many French vehicles and the Mahindra jeep.

Their biggest problem was they were misunderstood. People bought them in their droves thinking they were getting something like a SWB Pajero at less than half the cost.

Most of them were built during the breakdown of the Soviet Union.
The company was on its knees unable to obtain spares from state companies that no longer existed or were now in a neighbouring country and would only accept hard currency.

All compounded by the fact the that the Russian mob,who owned half the dealerships, were stealing cars as they come off the assembly line.
Yealtsin had to order in 200 crack paratroopers to protect their last remaining profitable state enterprise.

Obviously the Russians have had to cut their defence spending.

Wonder how many nuclear war-heads these new subs are able to carry ?

If I were the yanks, I'd seriously be developing a submersible Jeep to counter this new threat.......hehehe.

Cheers.....Lionel.
