No way that is a Patrol replacement!! Nissan have done some pretty stupid things but they aint that stupid!! I think it would be more in line with the Pathfinder style, a more military look.. Michael

I wouldn't worry about it to much.
If Toyota as expecting a loss of 2 to 2.5 Billion dollars by next March, me thinks Nissan's losses will mean they won't be in business to even contemplate building a 2010 model anything.

Short memory Evan. The 105 looked like a gay mardi-gras float when it was released too :-) Once the winch bar & snorkel goes on it will look fine. If they put a decent engine & drive train under it at a reasonable price they'll outsell Toyota who currently don't have a decent low spec offroader in their range.
What is funny is that there is no spare tyre on the back particually after all these years of Nissan owners bagging Toyota for putting it underneath.

You will be surprised how much the shape will grow on you in time. Add few items steel bull bar,2" lift , roof rack, off road tires, twin tyre carrier, HF radio and it will start to look good.

I think it is very pretty. Smooth lines and all.

Looks a tad low to the ground but am sure there will be some aftermarket goodies to raise it slightly.

The front looks like plastic same as the Xtrail. Wonder how long that will last in off-track conditions

Not sure where the spare wheel is. I presume it is inside the floor at the rear like the Xtrail so you have to unpack everything to get to it.

And what is that tow hitch fitted to???

Alas I will not be able to afford it. If ever my GQ should die on me I would have to re-donk it and take off from there.
