Thinking of going up to the Barrington Tops over New Years looked at a place called Junction Pools looks very nice is it true that we cant get your car into where you camp it telling me its a walk in campsite a short distance from your 4wd any one been there ??? and if so wheres a good place to camp looked at Manning River too

Glenn,
just looked on my lower north coast forest map and it definitely shows Junction Pools as being only accessible from a walking trail.
Hopefully Manning River campsite will be good as I will be there from the 28th.
It has been recommended by a couple of NPWS friends who are familiar with the area.

Hello Howard......junction pools was accessable by 4x4 a couple of years ago but that may have changed by now.....get up there before they close the lot off !!

I believe your meeting up with a certain Landrover ??
Manning river camp may be fairly busy, but hey...it's christmas !!

Have a good time and I'll catch up some where next year !!
