Not too sure about this exact model, but there are a number of similar systems available in Austraila. Just wander in to just about any 4WD shop and enquire.

Some examples:

Bush Winch

ARB example

exploroz thread

PRTTigerz product..

Don't have one as most of my travel that may require a winch is in the mountains and no shortage of suitable trees.... but have seen one in operation in the desert and they seem to work well.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Rredbeak, I note they even suggest that you can use two anchors at once ! Yeah, right, who carries two ground anchors at over US$300 each ?
I was recently with a couple of other guys on a very soft beach and we tried 3 different brands of plough type ground anchor plus several tries at burying a spare wheel - none worked successfully in loose gravel or sand. We also tried a large cork-screw like device which also did not work. I would strongly suggest that you see one of these anchors actually being demonstrated before you think of making a purchase. Don't just accept the video demo.

I notice tha demo of the Pull Pal is in nice chunky mud not sand . There might be a message there, as I have heard also, that they do not work in sand , but pull out.

Cheers,

Willie.
