You need to buy 2 extra poles to use the front panel as an extra awning .

Goto Oztent dot com dot au and on the opening page their is a small slide show, the chick doesn't have a RV5 but it is the same.
Once erected you will have to go inside and use to locking mechanism (velcro tabs) on the crossbeam to keep it up.
if just an overnight stay with no likely hood of wind i just peg the 4 corners outward, If you want (need to if windy) to go the full hog there should be guy ropes in pockets at the top corners the help anchor.
You should have got 2 poles for the front awning, Only if you want to put it up or leave it rolled up, less to do on departure.

This is how Ron moon does it

Hi Holty
If you have seen the "How To" instructional DVD on their web site, it is the same for all their models-and yes it is a 30 second tent. We have the RV 4 and is the best camping addition that we have ever purchased. The only difference is your tent is 20cm deeper and 20cm wider than the RV 4. Once you have used it, you will see that you have made the best choice in Tents.

All the Best with our camping and your new tent.

Cheers

Stephen

There is a great story on the inventor of the Oz tent, Joe Viglione in the latest (Jan) On The Road magazine. Just read it yesterday.
