Hi All,
While installing a 2-way in my 2004 std 100 series, I shorted the an auxiliary battery wire on the body. Now the tacho, voltmeter, temp gauge and glow plug light do not work, I have looked through all 3 fuse boxes and there are no blown fuses, any ideas?

Mark. Did the same sort of thing on my Rodeo - yes you are not the only one who should have disconnected the battery before doing electrical work! I accidently shorted a wire in the fuse box I was connecting a lead too. I had a whole lot of funny things happening on the dash after that, warning lights on - that should not etc. Eventually I said to myself - Self would this be like your computer and when all else fails - reboot it. So I disconnected the battery so the car had no power and then reconnected it - my problem was solved that easy!
Maybee you could give that a go, may be a computor thing - but I would be more sure that you would have a blown fuse - sometimes they are not easy to see. Best of luck. Makes you wonder what you would do if you have an electrical fault out bush?????????? Cheers Tony

Thanks Tony,
I'll give that a go. When I saw the sparks I thought to myself, maybe I should have disconnected the battery first! All seems to run fine, and it was the day before we headed off
camping!

the "meter " fuse should be the only one that controls these things ,should be in RH kick panel.
