Hi,
I have a 99 Jackaroo SE & the light output from the standard bulbs is pathetic.
Can anything be done to upgrade bulbs etc without great cost. I dont do much night driving & dont want to go to to
driving lights etc.
Anyone with a Jack who has fixed the problem - any advice appreciated
Thanks, Willy

you can get Plus 50 H1 globes from Autobarn etc, that would be a cheap fix, and if they are glass lenses maybe go to 100/130w jobbies but theres a bit of heat with that.
good luckSo many
places to go!
So much work to do :0(

I have a 99 Monterey.
I have put in Narva Plus 50 bulbs. The light output is a little bit whiter and brighter and it only cost $26 for the pair.
I do know of someone that has put in 130/90w bulbs in his Jackaroo without a problem. The lenses and reflector are both glass, not plastic and seem to take the additional heat output.

I fitted the narva plus 50s to my jack about a year ago, certainly an improvement over the stockers. Would't go to higher wattage globes unless you are prepared to upgrade the wiring harness ( they are only just adequate for the standard wattage, same on all new cars) cost about $25 at the time. Cheers Brad.
