Just spoke with a mate camped at Miami to give him the heads up.....Power went off in
park as we spoke.....he put in a few more pegs & ropes and headed for the jamisons bottle for comfort.
Cheers

Dont know what the fuss is about Here at Bribi.e Island it rained fairly hard for a while but little wind and the power stayed on.
Is a gorgeous morning really hot and sunny but muggy.
Maybe God is having a hate session on the southern suburbs this week LOL

Graham,
Congratulations on living long enough to know retirement, Old Salt.
I reckon what troopyman (Nissan driver, obviously), was saying is that bleeps are trumps at the moment, all over SE Qld. So set up a "gentle camp" at your peril.
We have copped neither wind nor rain here at home , (N of Bundy), but by crikey it's been around for a week, and even at this time of day it's full of sparks.
I'd certainly attempt to "storm proof" our little pleasure dome if we were out'n about. My 2c.
Jeff H.
