Ian,
I installed one to the front axle on my GU patrol, however I have now replaced it with an ARB air locker.
The lockrite is excellent, did not miss a bit, advantages are that is automatic, proactive (it is there all the time and before you get into trouble).
Disadvantages (and the reason why I now installed an ARB air locker).
You cannot disengage the lockrite so it is always there, which takes all the fun out of 4wdriving, it basically makes it through everything nice and easy, I sometimes like to have it just in case but not engage it.
Makes the steering a bit heavier which add wear to components and most of the time you actually don't need it on...
They are all personal preferences but I cannot fault it otherwise.

Will, I know a bloke who wants to fit one to the front of his Patrol. Have you still got it and is it for sale and if so, how much are you asking?
Ian, I have one in the front of my 80 series (part time 4wd) and I think they're the best thing since sliced bread!
