suzuki jimny - how " moddable"??

ive got a sierra, and a mate bought the jimny about 6months ago,
his been having trouble putting lift on (suspension) because of lack of parts, after speaking with my mechaic about it i was told that the shock mounts have to be re-inforced.

if your after the typical cheap go-anywhere small 4x4 id look at the last leaf sprung sierra made, 90s year model,
there is so many parts for sierras its not funny, and there cheap
