Meningie to Goolwa

I was looking at
Goolwa in
PLACES and on looking at map section I noticed that there are roads and bridges across the bottom of
Lake Alexandrina between
Meningie and
Goolwa. Can anybody tell me if this is drivable or do you have to use the ferry at
Wellington. Advice appreciated as I am heading that way in March.

No you can't drive across the barrages, they are locked out.
You have to drive via
Wellington.
