Hi all,
Just letting you know that after using EO for the past few months as a visitor I have finally joined up as a member. I have found so much useful info on this forum, much of it on behalf of the other half - the (mostly) driver, handyman and fisherman who hates using the internet!
Also love using the places, About Oz and other parts of EO.
Just want to thank anyone who responded to the thread I opened a few days ago re stoneguards for the van. We have received lots of useful ideas, and would love Motherhen to get back to me please. We appreciate the help.

Heather,

As a benefit of being a member you can now Member Message Motherhen and exchange details. Just find her in the members list and go from there ;)

Welcome to the establishment as a member. I am sure you will find it well worth the money.

Cheers Kev

Welcome Heather to EO, there are many women who participate here and some who just done't advertise their gender too. One friend we know just likes to get a couple to respond as "Mate" and one who baited a noted chauvanist when questioned about her support of a woman in a post. The chauvanist asked her about her support of women... INDEED, we bid you welcome.

There are plenty about here who are good with their comments including Viv C, Roachie's better half, Annette but I shouldn't go through a list. Know Mutha well too and the Old Rooster he other half.

Hi Heather,

Welcome.

Show your reluctant other half the post ( link below )and get him to tell everybody how he catches fish in Lake Lyle. As a local, he should have the clues.

Make him useful ,or threaten him with a flogging!

Cheers,

Willie.

Welcome aboard Heather. Now you'll be able to contribute to the places directory, the blogs and all those things that make this such a great site.

Cheers Mick
