I am trying to find out about as many
bush camping spots within South Australia that are either outside of NP/CP or
places that allow dogs. The areas I am after are similar to something like the
camping area within Mt. Crawford, or World's end creek/
Burra gorge, within SA. I drive a 1999 GLS Triton and tow a 6' x 4' Cavalier Camper.
Any information on this subject would be appreciated.

We have "Camping Guide to South Australia" published by Boiling Billy Publications (www.boilingbilly.com.au). Cost $13.95 about a year ago. It has all types of camping areas and indicates if dogs are allowed or not.

There is
free camping at all of the
Murray River ferry crossings. I have criss-crossed SA and have camped in heaps of
places. One of my favourite spots is Lipsom Cove between
Port Neill and
Tumby Bay. During the week or out of school holidays you have the whole place to yourself. You will just have to snuffle these
places out as you travel around.
