evening,
nice 5 days away with the sprogs saw us popping through the Coopacambra picking up Horse
Hill track then onto Three Mile Creek track for a beaut
camp. Exiting via
Genoa Creek fire trail in the morning. Headed over the border to Wadbilliga NP from there and really enjoyed the wild gorges and crystal clear waters.
Took a link up through the Badja to Pikes Saddle and
Dampier access to
Bendethera. Found a nice spot but checked the fireplace evident and it was scorching. bleep s are right next to a river and they cannot bother to extinguish a fire. Oh
well, warned the kids and thought, the flipside is that I already have hot coals and ashes, so got my boy to set the fire and sit back. We watched, it self ignited (much to his disappointment as he wanted to light it) so with the dutchie out and it was not long before you could hear that sensational sizzle. bleep s have their advantages.
Dinner cooked while the kids hopped about after the roos, great to see, kids enjoying themselves so much in the bush. Left via Merricumbene the next day and found a
beach camp I can't tell you about...quiet, water 5m from our tent with white sand in between.
a beaut five days away but we gave the Wife a fright by coming
home 3 hours early, ha ha!
