Dakar. Some big fella dunes on the route....................

None of our overweight and underpowered 4x4's would get up those dunes let alone over and down some hellishly steep inclines.

It was even an armchair adrenalin rush just watching these blokes in the 4x4's as well as the bikes and the trucks.

Of course those 4-bies are nothing like the real daily driver. Really only tubular 4x4 dune buggies with whatever brand engine in them and a coat to look like the brand name.

See a 'Grenade'/Navara exploded and burnt to the ground yesterday.

Its good entertainment for ½ an hour each arvo.

Missed tonights coverge on SBS, down at the pub lol, but my man Bruce Garland was in 21 place of stage 6 in an Isuzu D-Max got to love it don't I ..Isuzumu alias Bruce hahahahaha

Certainly fun stuff Willem , but the good filming makes it look better. Looks a bit like Australia to me , but color of sand is wrong.

There are some more normal cars in it , even a troppy.

Check out dakar.com and go to all standings for cars , you can click on each entrant and they have a picture and short note about each.
