thanks for that, looks like I am a bit behind the times. Now at least I know how it happened.

I bet you would love him driving your vehicles. Many years ago a guy drove a 25/280 MAN from Toowoomba to Brisbane and said the engine had a slight miss, turned out to be a little conrod through the side of the block.

If this is the one from another forum I think he ran over a mattress and it got caught up underneath but he keept driving till the car overheated
and stalled,Not sure if it was on 4wd monthly or Nissan forum.
