Hi,

I was wondering if any one would be able to tell me if the wheels from a 80 series would fit on my 60. At the moment I have standard wheels - 16" x 5.5" and they look to skinny. Need a solution to fill the rims.

Thanks,

Steve

No. Backspacing is significantly greater on the 80series, so the 80series rims are likely to hit steerig etc.

Are you sure?
Ive got a spare off my 60 series on my 80 series. Never tried it on the front though.

Gday Hairy,
The 60series will go fine on the 80series - you widen the track. I know a few people who do this deliberately.

But if you put 80series rims on a 60 series, you narrow the track, and are likely to have the tyres hitting steering or chassis.

60series split will fit both front and back on your 80series.

A lot of people fit 235/85R16 to the split rims, so they get a wider tyre.
