Hi all,

I wonder if anyone can advise me. We have taken our caravan over some dirt roads, and we got a fair bit of dirt that went through the air vent for the fridge. I think there maybe alot more under and behind the fridge. It is an Electrolux RM2310 3 way.

My Question is can or how does one go about taking it out without it being a big job?

Thanks in advance

Andrea

Two things,

I'd let sleeping dogs lie, if you catch my drift.

The other thing

Tape a piece of thin plastic tube into the intake of your vacuum cleaner and work it under and around the fridge and you'll get most of it out.

given these fridges require periodic maintenance of the burner system i am stunned at the stupidity that both vehicles ive had with these fridges had them totally built in making there removal a major task

If you remove the lower outside vent (2 second job) you should be able to get good access to the rear of the fridge to suck any dust out

To remove my fridge I undo the screws surrounding the outside cover on the side of the van and unstick it from the goo that it sits against.
Undo 2 screws on the brackets holding the fridge to the cupboard framing.
Disconnect the gas.
Unplug 12 and 240V.
Slide the whole thing outside.

Not all that much of a drama.

cheers
