When checking river heights this a.m. BOM reported that
Windorah had 98 mm rain last night - wonderful news for the graziers. Here's hoping it was not patchy but widespread.
Handy, if you have your fingers tapping on the keyboard would you let us know please - the Western would be a good place to find out! Cheers.
That'll put a bit of a lift in the Cooper.

yeah thats right Ruth we measured 98mm but i reckon we got a bit more than that as the wind was blowing it horizontal, looks like more on the way. water was at the front door of the pub .
the river has dropped a bit but the rain should pick it up a bit down stream.
not sure what they had upstream thou.
bring on the sandflies and skeeters cheers

handy, just on dark last night the wind came howling in here from NE and as we could still see the storm clouds it felt as though the wind was blowing off the storm front - which it seems it probably was.
Nice here today the wind blew the humidity out of the air.
If you here anything from around and about regards rainfall would you let us know please? More storms predicted today too.
That Hairy's a bit of a dobber, eh? At least you didn't have to go far for your swimming lessons. Same here - out the front and over the rocks.
