2006 GU 3.0 Lt TD Engine Query

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I was under the passengers side of my Patrol today and noticed 2 - 6 mm rubber hoses had come loose. These hoses are located near the main cross member just forward of the transfer case and continue in hard tubing up into the engine.

I was wondering what they are for? I am not sure how long they have been off but have not noticed any problems driving. If someone can tell me what they are for it would be great.

Also is there a manual available now for this model. I tried about 12 months ago with no luck.

Most likely the breather hoses for gearbox and transfer case by the sound of it. They would go to hard lines that enter the pax side mudguard. Check that that is so. If they are the breather hoses, check your oils for water contamination if you have been through any deep water, otherwise get them re-attached.

if its a zd30
there is one hose that is meant to be there. it is the oil hose from the oilfilter tray, nissan hae done a good job (at last) on this, as it stops all the oil running down over the motor when you crack open the oil filter.
i noticed that when i bought mine, bleep my self!!, until i traced it back to the oil filter tray
