Can someone help me with a good make of an inverter about 1200 watts or what i should look for before i will buy

You need to decide if you need full sin wave or modified sin wave as this will have an effect on the price.

all i needed for is to run a TV about 25" and maybe a lap top from time to time

Some laptops require full sine wave and some electronic devices can be destroyed when used with a modified sine wave inverter.
I have a SK1500 series inverter in my camper which is able to run the microwave.

Why not buy a 12 volt TV cheaper better and less likely to destroy your battery, a 1200watt inverter would be a liability. Eric.
