I must admit to being a fan of the UK series, found the Oz one
tough going. These blokes dont take life too seriously & I did
enjoy them taking the mickey out of the Yanks. Especially the
comment that the plastic rear spoiler used the same material that
US TV newsreaders are made of. Yes, I know they spend a lot of time flogging the guts out of expensive machinery but any auto
show with a sense of humour is fine by me. The Dakar daily
half hour is "must watch" also. Are there any other shows worth
a look?. Think there maybe another UK one on Pay perhaps.
cheers....oldbaz.

Royce you really did miss out.
Like Oldbaz any show that combines motoring, a bit of fun and a poke at those who take themselves a little too seriously is a must watch. Hopefully you have a friend who was willing to bend a few copywright laws and has a copy. Last nights was one of the better episodes.
I have the added bonus of a 16 year old son who loves it too. It's a great opportunity to sit with the
young bloke and have a laugh
And the only ones who get hurt are those who want to.

Have to agree, Top Gear and Dakar are must watch in our house.
Dakar is particularly interesting I love the trucks especially. Mitsubishi should have known that a Lancer would not be as good off road as a Pajero, unless maybe the Pajero wasn't really a Pajero and the Lancer isn't really a Lancer LOL.

The comment on the rear spoiler was actually about the whole car - Corvettes are fully fibreglass.
They are actually quite bad to be in, as the whole
shell skakes - like a kit car!!
