mixing ATF with Diesel

i remember somebody talking about mixing atf fluid with deisel a while back. can anybody remember the post.
if not and you are still on here. could you tell me whats the mixture you run?

Hi Greg,
Yeah, 200ml per 90 liters.
Been adding it for a few years now. Can't say that it gives any performance boost, just makes the injectors/Injector pump quieter.
Still use about 12.5L/km on average. At this piont in time I can't say that it has done any harm or not, everything seem to be running
well.

I've heard of it being used , BUT you must be careful of what type you use.
GM spec or Ford spec, I was told one was OK for Diesel's and one was not.
One dissolved the gasket material and started oil leaks, I can't find the guy who told me or find it on the Internet,
but I was told ,, so just in case I don't do it..
thats just because I'm the type of person who just doesn't believe everything I'm told..

hmm, it might pay to findout which type is alright for mixing first.
